About the park

Occupying a truly unique and uncommercialised site, River Meadow offers a tranquil, calm and relaxed atmosphere where you will feel a sense of belonging.     

The park has been owned and operated by the Mills family since the mid 1970’s with the owners actively involved in the day-to-day running of the park to ensure its regular maintenance and upkeep to the same exacting standards today as they were when the park first opened. 

All of the caravans are privately owned, with many of the plots occupied by the same families for a number of years, adding to the friendly, family feel. 

Landscaped with established trees and shrubs in order to blend in with the natural environment, the River Vyrnwy flows along the boundary.  The park is also adjacent to the Dyfnant Forest in which there are many woodland walking trails.    

The site is flat and is both child and dog friendly with a large playing field and children’s play area.  

Whilst enjoying a rural location, the park is only 400 yards from the village amenities and there are on-site facilities such as free WiFi and a laundry room.   

Situated not far from on the Powys Shropshire border, River Meadow is within easy reach of the Midlands, Cheshire and Merseyside.
